GB4000 Carrier Wave Question - Is it a Sine or Square Wave?
Posted by Joshua Parker on 13 October 2009 11:04 AM

Hi,
Regarding the sine/square button I would like to know:

1) if carrier wave (1st oscillator) is sine o square

2) if the 2nd wave (2nd oscillator) is sine or square

3) both of them are sine or square simultaneously

Thanks

The carrier wave is always sine wave on the GB4000.

Whatever you set on the touchpad (sine/square button) is the shape of the other wave (what you refer to as the 2nd oscillator). So if you put it in Sine wave mode it will be a sine wave modulated sine wave. If you put it in Square wave mode it will be a sine wave modulated square wave.

This is slightly technical but if anyone else wants to know it this should help...
